Description

  • Manage patient records accurately in EMR systems.
  • Update EMR records with new patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Respond to patient inquiries by phone, email, or chat in a professional and timely manner.
  • Explain services and onboarding information to new patients.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, calendar management, and follow-up care coordination.
  • Collaborate with medical billing teams on coding and billing information.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
  • Support seamless communication and coordination across the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and understanding of medical terminology and documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly and concisely to patients.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
  • Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes is a plus.
  • Must be available to work full-time, 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Open to candidates located in the Philippines only.
