Description

  • Deliver individualized virtual occupational therapy to students in 1:1 and small group settings.
  • Create intervention plans aligned with student IEP goals and developmental needs.
  • Target fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, handwriting, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Adapt therapy activities and instruction in real time based on student engagement, performance, and home constraints.
  • Use household items and digital platforms to keep sessions interactive and effective.
  • Track student data and document progress for regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate with families, IEP teams, and school district partners about student progress.
  • Support students in meeting IEP milestones and building independence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Current NBCOT certification required.
  • Valid state OT licensure or certification, or willingness to obtain reciprocity.
  • Experience with teletherapy or K-12 school settings is a strong plus.
  • Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
  • Strong virtual instruction skills, including comfort with video conferencing and digital whiteboards.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and quiet workspace required.
  • Availability during Pacific Time hours is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
