Description

  • Deliver individualized virtual physical education instruction tailored to each student's abilities and learning profile.
  • Create structured, modified fitness plans aligned with student IEP goals.
  • Target gross motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, and spatial awareness through instruction.
  • Adapt lessons in real time based on student engagement, physical capabilities, and home environment constraints.
  • Use household items or limited spaces to support safe, active movement activities.
  • Track student progress and maintain transparent reporting on motor skill development.
  • Communicate with families, IEP teams, and school district partners to support compliance and student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience working with students who have educational needs.
  • Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
  • Strong virtual instruction skills, including comfort with video conferencing and digital whiteboards.
  • Ability to keep students engaged in an online setting.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.
  • Availability during Pacific Time hours is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
