Description

  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of product features across the stack.
  • Write clean, maintainable backend code for systems deployed in AWS or GCP.
  • Collaborate with AI and cryptography specialists on technical solutions.
  • Work with the product manager to define requirements, architecture, data flows, API specs, and testing strategies.
  • Participate in team discussions about engineering process and code quality.
  • Iterate on the product based on customer feedback and customer-driven development.
  • Write automated tests covering load, performance, and error handling.
  • Contribute hands-on to the codebase alongside senior engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in backend development.
  • Excellent TypeScript coding experience.
  • AWS experience with containers such as EKS and ECS, and with serverless systems.
  • Experience with relational, key/value, and graph datastores, including schema management.
  • Experience with API design, data modeling, secure service development, and database systems.
  • Strong focus on quality code, error handling, and high availability.
  • Thoughtful, pragmatic problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least upper-intermediate spoken and written English.
  • Python coding experience and familiarity with Python environments (preferred).
  • Experience with GCP systems (preferred).
  • Experience with applied cryptography, including key management, TLS, or post-quantum algorithms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with agent-based architectures or systems that scan and orchestrate actions across distributed environments (preferred).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML systems, especially LLM integration or agent-style reasoning patterns (preferred).
  • Experience managing LLM agents to improve code generation and test quality and speed (preferred).
  • Exposure to security tools, vulnerability detection platforms, or compliance automation (preferred).
  • Prior experience working on developer-facing or infrastructure-heavy products (preferred).
