Description

  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of product features.
  • Write clean, maintainable backend code for systems deployed in AWS or GCP.
  • Collaborate with AI and cryptography specialists on technical solutions.
  • Work with the product manager to define requirements, architecture, data flows, API specifications, and testing strategies.
  • Participate in team discussions about engineering process and code quality.
  • Iterate on features based on customer feedback and customer-driven development.
  • Write automated tests covering load, performance, and error handling.
  • Contribute hands-on across the stack alongside senior engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in backend development.
  • Excellent TypeScript coding experience.
  • Experience with AWS containers, including EKS and ECS, and serverless systems.
  • Experience with relational, key/value, and graph datastores, including schema management.
  • Experience with API design, data modeling, secure service development, and database systems.
  • Strong focus on quality code, error handling, and high availability.
  • Thoughtful, pragmatic problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least upper-intermediate spoken and written English.
  • Python coding and environment experience is a plus.
  • Experience with GCP systems is a plus.
  • Experience with applied cryptography, including key management, TLS, or post-quantum algorithms, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agent-based architectures or systems that scan and orchestrate actions across distributed environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML systems, especially LLM integration or agent-style reasoning patterns, is a plus.
  • Experience managing LLM agents to improve code generation and test quality is a plus.
  • Exposure to security tools, vulnerability detection platforms, or compliance automation is a plus.
  • Prior experience with developer-facing or infrastructure-heavy products is a plus.
