Description

Redesign, develop, and enhance Tableau dashboards using modern visualization and user-experience practices.
Translate stakeholder business questions and requirements into intuitive analytical products.
Optimize dashboard performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability.
Implement and maintain Tableau row-level security using dynamic user, role, and organizational access rules.
Test security configurations across user roles, access scenarios, and organizational changes.
Develop and optimize Tableau data sources, connections, and data models, primarily using Snowflake.
Write and optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot data quality, performance, and integration issues.
Document dashboard and security architecture, processes, and maintenance procedures.
Incorporate user feedback and establish reusable development standards and patterns.
Collaborate with People Analytics, technology, and security partners to support governance, knowledge transfer, and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

Significant professional experience developing, deploying, and maintaining complex Tableau dashboards.
Advanced Tableau expertise, including calculated fields, parameters, filters, actions, data modeling, performance optimization, and visualization best practices.
Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining Tableau row-level security, entitlement mapping, and dynamic data filtering.
Strong understanding of Tableau permissions, data sources, security architecture, and row-level security interactions.
Proficiency with relational databases and SQL or comparable querying technologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience translating business requirements into accurate, intuitive analytical products.
Ability to independently manage priorities, meet timelines, protect sensitive information, and document solutions.
Experience with Snowflake, including querying, data modeling, and Tableau connection optimization (preferred).
Experience with Alteryx or similar ETL tools, HRIS or People Analytics data, Tableau Server or Cloud administration, Workday, or enterprise dashboard modernization (preferred).

Benefits

Six-month contract with flexible remote work; preference for candidates in Central Standard Time.
Estimated Seattle hourly base pay range of $73–$109 USD, with geographic variation.
