Description

  • Surface and analyze customer business requirements and translate them into an architectural design.
  • Design, construct, configure, and maintain all facets of a Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end implementations of Microsoft 365 infrastructure workloads.
  • Lead and provide strategic vision to large technical teams on complex projects and take ownership of successful technical delivery.
  • Influence and guide the deployment of key infrastructure components and related technology dependencies in complex enterprise environments.
  • Participate in presales calls and activities and help internal sales teams develop customer solutions.
  • Proactively advise customers on complex decisions around features, capabilities, and migration approaches.
  • Identify, scope, and refer opportunities for additional Planet services and provide process improvement or standardization with broad impact.
  • Lead internal technical communities, present new technologies, and communicate escalations and project progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Real-world, hands-on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions using Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 in large, complex environments.
  • Extensive hybrid and third-party migration experience for Exchange/Office 365 migrations.
  • Subject matter expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection (EOP), Teams Voice, and other Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Experience with the Microsoft security stack: Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and Compliance Center (including Litigation Hold, Retention, and eDiscovery).
  • Real-world experience managing and maintaining Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and on-premises Active Directory migrations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate proactively across internal teams, customers, and partners and to respond to internal and external technical communities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate escalations and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and ownership stake in delivering complex technical projects and assisting in managing customer expectations.
  • Teams Voice experience is a plus.
  • US citizenship (clearable) and ability to undergo federal agency background investigation (may require up to a 10-year background check) where required.

  • Competitive salary range: $140,000 to $225,000 (final offer depends on experience, clearance level, education, etc.).
