Description

  • Lead the design, coding, testing, and implementation of software applications and solutions.
  • Develop efficient and reliable software using advanced knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Advise leadership, program managers, and stakeholders on technical strategies, risks, and solutions.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior developers and engineers.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to support seamless integration.
  • Contribute to system architecture and ensure software aligns with enterprise or mission objectives.
  • Optimize applications for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver high-quality products.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • DoD 8140 certification.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record as a technical lead or subject matter expert on complex software projects (preferred).
