Description

  • Conduct analysis of systems on the organization’s network and verify that security measures meet required controls.
  • Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities across systems and networks and implement necessary safeguards.
  • Manage cybersecurity system POA&Ms, including reviewing records, verifying information, and developing impact statements and mitigation strategies.
  • Verify cybersecurity requirements are met at each step of the risk management framework and perform initial risk cost assessments.
  • Oversee verification of cybersecurity policies for onsite systems and maintain security compliance attributes.
  • Lead planning, management, coordination, and execution of multiple concurrent security tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Work independently on system security matters and perform complex technical tasks.
  • Apply technical knowledge of information technology systems, identity and access management, and AWS GovCloud environments.
  • Document non-compliant controls and develop mitigation plans to address impacts and risks.
  • Collaborate across large-scale, highly available systems integrated with business-critical systems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technical experience in Information Technology.
  • 7+ years of technical experience with Application Security.
  • Required to have and maintain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) security clearance (Tier 4/6c).
  • Relevant security certifications such as Security+, CASP, CCISO, CISM, CISSP, or CAP are required.
  • AWS Security certification is mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of information technology systems, identity and access management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services.
  • Experience with system security artifacts such as boundary documents, ALs, and inherited controls.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
