Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications aligned with organizational needs.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • Apply secure coding standards and industry best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Lead development efforts on complex projects and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, QA, DevOps, and systems engineering teams to shape technical direction and deliver reliable solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps pipelines.
  • Integrate software components and third-party applications into existing systems.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and user guides.
  • Ensure compliance with security requirements, data protection policies, and coding standards.
  • Support audits, testing, and certification efforts when required.

Requirements

  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • DoD 8140 certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience required.
  • Experience leading development efforts on enterprise or mission-critical applications preferred.
  • Advanced programming expertise required.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments required.
  • Experience with secure coding practices and software security requirements required.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams required.
