Description

  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex Sage 300 support cases and resolve issues thoroughly and on time.
  • Provide functional and technical support across core Sage 300 modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control, Order Entry, Purchase Orders, and Project & Job Costing.
  • Lead and assist with Sage 300 implementations, upgrades, and data migrations for clients across multiple industries.
  • Configure and customize Sage 300 to fit each client's specific business requirements.
  • Deliver end-user training virtually and on-site, and create supporting documentation.
  • Support integrations between Sage 300 and third-party applications, add-ons, and complementary solutions.
  • Diagnose data integrity issues, system errors, and performance problems using a structured, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Maintain detailed case documentation and communication logs in internal systems.
  • Build trusted long-term client relationships and serve as an advisor throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with account managers and other internal teams to identify client needs, support delivery, and mentor junior consultants.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Sage 300 ERP experience (formerly Accpac).
  • Strong functional knowledge of core Sage 300 modules, including GL, AP, AR, IC, OE, and PO.
  • Demonstrated experience with Sage 300 implementations, upgrades, and client-facing support.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and the operational needs of finance teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work directly with clients by phone, video, and in person.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented mindset built on integrity and proactive service.
  • Experience with Sage 300 add-ons such as Sage CRM, Sage HRMS, Sage Fixed Assets, or Service Manager is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, Crystal Reports, and/or Sage Intelligence Reporting is preferred.
  • Experience supporting hospitality/hotel management, heavy equipment, construction, or multi-entity organizations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of third-party integrations with hospitality or financial platforms is preferred.
  • Sage 300 certification or Sage partner accreditation is preferred.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
