Description

  • Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity website mockups.
  • Design responsive, conversion-focused pages and components aligned with brand identity.
  • Build and maintain websites in CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and Squarespace.
  • Customize themes, templates, layouts, plugins, forms, widgets, and integrations.
  • Use HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to implement front-end website updates.
  • Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Run audits and troubleshoot issues using PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Lighthouse.
  • Test websites across browsers, devices, and screen sizes and resolve QA issues.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, branding, and development teams.
  • Maintain website documentation, organized assets, and ongoing site updates.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional website design experience.
  • Experience designing and building production websites.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating modern website design and UX thinking.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or Squarespace.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, website performance optimization, and SEO fundamentals.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience building e-commerce websites with Shopify or WooCommerce (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or SEO tools (preferred).
  • Experience with CMS migrations, landing page optimization, or CRO (preferred).
  • Experience working with SaaS companies, marketing agencies, or e-commerce brands (preferred).
  • Ability to work U.S. client business hours from a remote location in LATAM, South Africa, Pakistan, or Eastern Europe (preferred).
