Description

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end automation tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Expand automation coverage across critical product workflows and user journeys.
  • Improve framework reliability, maintainability, execution speed, and reusable testing patterns.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and eliminate flaky tests and regression suite inconsistencies.
  • Diagnose failures related to asynchronous behavior, network requests, timing, and DOM interactions.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot pipeline execution issues.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers during feature development, releases, and architecture discussions.
  • Use AI-assisted tools and modern workflows to improve exploratory testing and edge-case detection.
  • Maintain stable test environments, reliable test data strategies, and scalable testing infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, or a strong Cypress background with willingness to transition.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of DOM interaction, network requests, asynchronous behavior, and flaky test diagnosis.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience building automation infrastructure from scratch is preferred.
  • Test data management and environment strategy experience is preferred.
  • Experience testing B2B SaaS platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant systems and role-based access testing is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing workflows and tooling is preferred.
  • Experience working in modern Agile or product-led engineering environments is preferred.
