Description

Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS.
Develop scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business requirements and follow modern software design principles.
Contribute to architectural discussions and implement clean, reusable solutions across services.
Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of core platform services and APIs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, retrospectives, and story grooming.
Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and drive code quality improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Security to support software delivery.
Mentor peers and junior engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Use AI-based development tools to build high-quality AdTech products.

Requirements

6+ years of backend software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
4+ years developing scalable, high-performance, high-availability microservices.
4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code.
4+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases and optimized SQL queries.
2+ years of Elasticsearch experience or other cloud-native search technologies.
2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
Advanced proficiency in Python 3 with expert-level knowledge required; a coding assessment will be administered.
Experience with observability tools and performance monitoring platforms such as New Relic and Sentry (preferred).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Amazon ECS, and Kubernetes (preferred).
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and protocols including OAuth2, JWT, HMAC, encryption, hashing, and secret management (preferred).
Understanding of digital advertising ecosystems and platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Kevel, Sizmek, and DV360 (preferred).
Awareness of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory frameworks like HIPAA and PHI (preferred).
Experience working collaboratively with Product, DevOps, and Security (preferred).
Remote location with willingness to travel 4-5 weeks per year.
