Description

  • Develop and maintain SQL code and SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Design, update, and optimize SSIS packages and ETL/ELT workflows to improve performance and scalability.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, diagnose business issues, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and review query and job performance, analyze execution plans, and optimize T-SQL code.
  • Provide production-level support by troubleshooting issues, resolving bugs, and implementing timely fixes to ensure system availability.
  • Document processes, packages, and methodologies to maintain clear records for knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and collaborate with teams on data governance and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
  • Working experience with Microsoft BI Tool Suite (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and developing/maintaining SSIS packages.
  • Understanding of SQL Server Agent, Integration Services Catalogs, SSISDB projects and environments, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Visual Studio.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data transformation, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with data warehousing.
  • Strong analytical skills: synthesize complex information, research data, create solutions, and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying and resolving data quality issues and familiarity with data governance best practices and tools.
  • Fluent in English.
