Description

  • Drive complex, high-impact engineering initiatives across product innovation areas.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering leaders on priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and execution.
  • Use agentic development workflows and help establish AI development principles and best practices.
  • Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams in senior-level roles.
  • Participate in standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, deployments, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • Professional software engineering experience; level and scope depend on experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more of TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI-native development and experience leading teams in its adoption.
  • Senior candidates should have technical leadership experience, including setting direction and making architectural decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including translating technical complexity for varied audiences.
  • Experience in EdTech or products for learners, educators, or families (preferred).
  • Familiarity with search, discovery, personalization, AI, tooling, data insights, payment systems, or marketplace technologies (preferred).
  • Experience at a fast-paced startup or high-growth company (preferred).
  • Full-time employees must reside in and be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
