Description

  • Hire and manage a team of colleagues, including performance management, growth support, and related HR administrative tasks.
  • Monitor team dashboards and operational KPIs, and use root-cause analysis to create action plans when issues arise.
  • Manage team outcomes and make volume-based decisions that best serve customers.
  • Lead team huddles, communicate goals and priorities, and motivate colleagues to meet daily operational objectives.
  • Coach and support team members while fostering an inclusive, engaging culture aligned with Oscar’s values.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve production team performance and development.
  • Identify gaps in existing workflows and help close them through process improvements.
  • Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced operations or customer service environment.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience in LEAN practices.
  • 1+ year working with BPO vendors.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple locations and multiple disciplines.
  • Must reside in Texas.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Prior healthcare and/or insurance experience (preferred).
  • Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office skills (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience solving complex inquiries (preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects (preferred).
