Description

Hire and manage a team of colleagues, including performance management, growth support, and related HR administrative tasks.
Monitor team dashboards and operational KPIs, and use root-cause analysis to create action plans when issues arise.
Manage team outcomes and make volume-based decisions that best serve customers.
Lead team huddles, communicate goals and priorities, and motivate colleagues to meet daily operational objectives.
Coach and support team members while fostering an inclusive, engaging culture aligned with Oscar’s values.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve production team performance and development.
Identify gaps in existing workflows and help close them through process improvements.
Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a fast-paced operations or customer service environment.
2+ years of direct people management experience.
2+ years of experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Experience in LEAN practices.
1+ year working with BPO vendors.
Experience working with teams across multiple locations and multiple disciplines.
Must reside in Texas.
Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Prior healthcare and/or insurance experience (preferred).
Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office skills (preferred).
2+ years of experience solving complex inquiries (preferred).
1+ years of experience managing projects (preferred).
