Description

  • Review, draft, and negotiate complex health insurance agreements, including pharmacy benefit management and utilization management agreements.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements such as software licenses, master service agreements, NDAs, and BAAs.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to the Procurement team and business partners.
  • Serve as a trusted company resource for contract-related questions, processes, and guidance.
  • Improve and implement vendor contracting processes, including templates and contract management workflows.
  • Assess and implement AI tools within contract management workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience as a contract attorney in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience handling a variety of complex health industry contracts.
  • Experience with corporate law, contract drafting, and contract interpretation.
  • Experience with contract management systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as a dynamic team player.
  • Experience implementing AI tools in vendor contracting processes (preferred).
  • Must reside in Dallas, TX and work remotely from that location.
