Description

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the processes, procedures, and tools associated with Oscar’s business model.
  • Handle customer interactions with members, brokers, providers, and Oscar vendors across multiple channels according to assignment needs.
  • Manage an assigned caseload while maintaining service delivery, productivity, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor and track the health/status of all assigned work-in-progress issues.
  • Escalate and resolve issues through established pathways to meet appropriate turnaround times.
  • Support leadership by identifying issues and routing them through established escalation pathways.
  • Form and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and operational initiatives.
  • Comply with operational, regulatory, and compliance standards relating to member Personal Health Information (PHI).
  • Perform back-office tasks following standard operating procedures and carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • 1+ years of experience in a high-volume or customer-focused setting.
  • 6+ months of healthcare experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Residency in Florida and ability to work remotely from a home office; occasional travel for team meetings and company events may be required.
  • Comfort working in a volume-driven, production-based environment.
  • Strong quantitative or analytical skills focused on identifying or solving problems (preferred).
  • Experience manipulating and entering accurate data (preferred).
  • Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office capabilities (preferred).

  • Base pay of $19.00 per hour.
  • Eligible for an additional $1.00 per hour upon successful completion of the bilingual assessment.
