Description

  • Work under the guidance of the Senior Director, Medical Economics.
  • Maintain models that forecast the financial impact of proposed clinical and payment policy changes.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and stress testing to assess outcomes across utilization and cost scenarios.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of integrated claims and operational data, including medical, pharmacy, lab, and authorization data, to identify cost and trend drivers.
  • Provide proactive financial guidance on clinical trends and their potential impact on financial performance.
  • Conduct retrospective studies to measure actual financial and clinical outcomes against initial projections.
  • Build repeatable analytic processes that can scale across programs.
  • Create executive-ready visualizations tailored to clinical and financial stakeholders.
  • Promote automation and documentation best practices and contribute to initiatives around automation, AI use, and tooling improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • College degree in a STEM field such as Economics, Actuarial Science, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, or Health Services Research.
  • 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience using SQL.
  • Demonstrable track record of building analytics that drive business decisions and actions.
  • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or currently on the path to become one (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills (preferred).
  • Must reside in Dallas, TX and be open to a fully remote role with a potential future hybrid presence at the hub office.
  • Relevant skills, education, and experience will be considered in final offer determination.
