Description

  • Manage and grow engagement across Slack, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and other community channels.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel content calendars aligned with product and community initiatives.
  • Write, edit, and repurpose content for different audiences and platforms.
  • Coordinate with product and marketing teams to turn technical updates into community-friendly narratives.
  • Monitor community conversations, respond promptly, and surface valuable feedback to the team.
  • Track and report engagement metrics and use data to improve strategy.
  • Experiment with new formats and channels to increase reach and participation.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, writing, and reporting workflows.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in community management, developer relations, software development, or content marketing.
  • Strong writing skills for short- and long-form content across multiple platforms.
  • Experience managing multi-channel content calendars in technical or developer-focused spaces.
  • Technical fluency with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable using AI to speed up content creation and improve quality.
  • Effective, personable communication skills, including on Slack and in public speaking settings.
  • Experience working in fully remote, distributed teams.
  • Located in Eastern Time ±1 hour.
  • Bonus: background in open-source communities or open-source contributions.
  • Bonus: visual storytelling skills such as lightweight video, memes, or visuals.
  • Bonus: interest in coding, teaching, and simplifying technical topics.
  • Bonus: own online presence or experience activating others’ online presence.
  • Bonus: comfort thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and experimenting.
