Description

  • Monitor commercial solar portfolios, evaluate DAS alerts, and identify performance issues and trends.
  • Create, track, and help close service tickets for system anomalies in coordination with Portfolio Operations.
  • Provide technical support to customers, site hosts, and field service technicians, including during site visits and escalations.
  • Onboard new clients and assets by creating records, connecting data sources, and configuring asset information in Omnidian’s platforms.
  • Ensure technical specifications are fully captured to support automated reporting features and accurate portfolio management.
  • Assist with solar PV performance modeling and energy simulation work for new and existing assets.
  • Produce client and portfolio performance reports and verify the accuracy of reporting metrics.
  • Support pre-sales efforts by providing technical input for performance modeling and new business opportunities.
  • Participate in process improvement by documenting best practices, standardizing procedures, and suggesting platform enhancements.
  • Cross-train team members on DAS portals and related workflows.

Requirements

  • 3 years of commercial monitoring experience.
  • Strong understanding of solar technology, monitoring systems, maintenance practices, and the solar industry landscape.
  • Experience with solar monitoring DAS platforms and alert management.
  • Experience with customer escalations, tier one technical support, and project management.
  • Strong technical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and exercise good judgment.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented, with the ability to work on repetitive tasks while staying focused and productive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, G Suite, and CRM applications.
  • Experience performing energy simulations in PV systems or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience reading and interpreting solar system design drawings is a plus, but not required.
