Description

  • Own the end-to-end Trust & Safety product strategy and prioritized roadmap.
  • Build proactive fraud-prevention capabilities, including risk engines, data-signal intelligence, anomaly detection, and investigation tooling.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to develop and launch real-time AI/ML detection and decisioning systems.
  • Balance fraud mitigation with low-friction experiences for legitimate users and marketplace growth.
  • Define, monitor, and communicate Trust & Safety metrics such as fraud loss, false-positive and false-negative rates, resolution time, trust scores, and financial exposure.
  • Build instrumentation, monitoring, and evaluation capabilities for fraud rates, model performance, and user impact at scale.
  • Develop business cases for prevention investments, quantify fraud losses and ROI, and drive resource prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and vendors to deliver products in high-risk environments.
  • Ensure Trust & Safety products comply with local and regional legal, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Present Trust & Safety strategy, risk posture, and outcomes to senior and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Significant product management experience in a high-scale digital consumer platform, marketplace, mobility, e-commerce, classifieds, fintech, or similar environment.
  • Proven ownership of Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, risk, identity and verification, marketplace integrity, account security, abuse prevention, payments risk, or compliance technology products.
  • Experience building scalable systems that proactively detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud, abuse, or risk.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven approach to defining metrics, evaluating impact, and prioritizing work.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and vendors in regulated or high-risk environments.
  • Experience building, deploying, or partnering on ML, AI, risk-scoring, decisioning, detection, recommendation, or automation systems; AI-powered trust or fraud experience is preferred.
  • Ability to balance user experience, marketplace growth, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and drive strategy and execution across multiple teams.
  • Experience building and iterating data science products at scale.
  • Experience across multiple international markets and regulatory environments, plus familiarity with emerging platform, marketplace, payments, AI, and consumer-trust regulations, is preferred.
