Description

  • Serve as the key technical resource for the Power Generation Design team.
  • Establish engineering standards and define project execution strategies.
  • Mentor and support team members on Power Generation facility work.
  • Lead conceptual design through detailed design for power generation projects.
  • Guide clients and project teams through the full design and construction process.
  • Develop design templates, checklists, and QA/QC standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
  • Serve as the technical authority in client meetings and design reviews.
  • Support team development, client relationships, and project execution.
  • Lead technical work across multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, including experience as a Lead Engineer, Owner’s Engineer, or Technical Principal.
  • At least 4 years of experience supervising, mentoring, and/or leading technical personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical work while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, generation interconnection, and high-voltage infrastructure.
  • Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary design team environments.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 10+ years of experience in power generation, utility, or related industrial power design projects (preferred).
  • Experience with Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, RICE, Steam, BESS, and/or Microgrids (preferred).
  • A builder’s mindset and comfort working with autonomy and initiative (preferred).
