Description

  • Design and architect complex systems for the In-Store domain and influence technical strategy.
  • Own the delivery of large-scale features and projects across multiple teams.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior and senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to shape requirements and technical decisions.
  • Build high-quality, resilient, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Lead troubleshooting and incident management for critical production issues.
  • Improve development practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and test automation.
  • Coordinate cross-team technical initiatives across services and platforms.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and techniques to improve team capabilities.
  • Own and continuously improve the team’s delivery pipeline, code quality, testing, and deployment practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in .NET and C#.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture, including microservices and event-driven architecture using Kafka.
  • Experience applying resilience mechanisms and performance tuning at scale.
  • Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and Terraform.
  • Strong leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in the POS domain or building systems that integrate with external partner platforms (preferred).
