Description

  • Prepare, review, and maintain licensing documents, programs, and supporting licensing-related products for Oklo's reactor technologies.
  • Plan, organize, and execute complex licensing assignments in a team environment.
  • Support project management of licensing activities, deliverables, schedules, milestones, and document submittals.
  • Develop engineering and licensing requirements and documentation for nuclear systems and components in coordination with other engineering functions.
  • Coordinate with design engineers to review technical materials and ensure new designs and design changes meet regulatory requirements.
  • Interface with the nuclear regulator on both regulatory and planning matters.
  • Prepare and defend Oklo's licensing positions where the current regulatory framework is unclear or does not apply.
  • Prepare and deliver licensing presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead resolution of key strategic licensing issues.

Requirements

  • BS in engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52, plus NRC Regulatory Guides and other regulatory guidance.
  • Demonstrated coordination skills and the ability to earn trust from team members and management.
  • Proven team player with excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate strategic regulatory decisions into licensing deliverables.
  • Ability to handle projects with competing objectives and design constraints, and resolve conflicts between them.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, highly collaborative startup environment is preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
