Description

  • Monitor active hire-vehicle cases, including duration, costs, extensions, repair timelines and next actions.
  • Identify aged, high-cost and unusual cases to reduce avoidable spend while supporting drivers.
  • Track recovery opportunities and outstanding partner contributions, following up on requested, agreed, received and outstanding amounts.
  • Analyse downtime and wider operational data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Create, maintain and improve accurate trackers, reports and dashboards in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Provide constructive feedback and hold colleagues accountable for agreed actions and process compliance.
  • Improve operational controls, workflows, reporting and automation to make processes more scalable.
  • Use technology and AI tools to improve reporting, analysis and productivity.
  • Contact dealerships, manufacturers, repairers and other partners to resolve delays affecting hire duration when needed.

Requirements

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to assess whether operational spend is necessary, sustainable and recoverable.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities from operational data.
  • Confidence using Excel and Google Sheets to build and maintain reports, trackers and dashboards.
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple active cases, actions and follow-ups.
  • Ability to constructively challenge colleagues and hold others accountable while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Basic understanding of automotive repair and service processes.
  • Comfort learning new systems and using technology to improve operational performance.
  • Experience with AI or automation tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot for reporting, analysis or productivity (preferred).
