Description

  • Staff a promotion stand in busy shopping centers, stores, and malls across the assigned sales area.
  • Approach passersby proactively and start conversations to generate interest in Octopus Energy.
  • Advise customers directly on-site and explain electricity tariffs in a clear and persuasive way.
  • Conduct needs assessments and identify suitable offers for prospective customers.
  • Close contracts on the spot with a focus on new customer acquisition.
  • Represent Octopus Energy as the visible face of the brand in the field.
  • Work a flexible full-time schedule across five days per week, Monday through Saturday.

Requirements

  • Fluent German language skills and confidence communicating with a wide range of people.
  • Extroverted, proactive personality with strong sales motivation and persistence.
  • Comfort speaking to hundreds of strangers per day in a direct sales environment.
  • Physical stamina and enjoyment of an active, fast-paced workday on the sales floor.
  • Ideally prior experience in POS sales or retail sales.
  • Career changers from hospitality or hotel work are welcome if they thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to remain friendly and persuasive even during long workdays.
  • Motivation and personality are valued highly; not all requirements must be met.
  • Applicants should be available for a full-time role with a flexible five-day schedule.
