Description

  • Design, develop, test, and enhance applications on the SAS Viya Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and support advanced SAS programs, macros, and automated ETL processes.
  • Build integrations among vendor APIs, enterprise databases, and reporting platforms using SAS and Python.
  • Support production analytics capabilities, data pipelines, and reporting solutions.
  • Participate in solution design, release planning, and implementation activities.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents and performance issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
  • Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews when appropriate.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in SAS development, analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience, including macro development.
  • Advanced experience with the SAS Viya Cloud Platform.
  • Python development experience, particularly with API integrations.
  • Experience developing ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD.
  • Experience delivering analytics solutions, API integrations, reporting, and production support.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Candidates must be located in Mexico or Brazil, work fully remotely, and use a personal laptop with required company security and device-management software.
  • Financial services experience is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include SAS Certified Specialist credentials in SAS Viya Administration, Programming Fundamentals, Programming Using SAS 9.4, or Advanced Programming Using SAS 9.4.
