Description

  • Manage and develop a team of 6–8 account management staff, including training, feedback, salary reviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and achievement of Nova performance metrics across the team’s assigned plans.
  • Set team goals, foster a positive work environment, and champion AMP values, policies, and Nova culture.
  • Resolve at least 50% of service issues escalated by team members.
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 50 clients.
  • Provide plan design and consulting services and cultivate relationships for assigned plans.
  • Assist team members with annual client reviews.
  • Communicate with principals, clients, financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and other plan professionals.
  • Stay current on retirement-plan regulations and legislation, including proposed changes.
  • Support at least three annual client or broker outreach initiatives, such as seminars, webinars, or events.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in nondiscrimination testing.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in the retirement plan field.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • NIPA or ASPPA credential.
  • Expert knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4) nondiscrimination testing.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related regulations.
  • Ability to interpret pre-approved and individually designed plan documents.
  • Strong research, analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work toward weekly goals, multitask, and adapt in a results-oriented environment.
  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer and work remotely from the United States.

  • Base salary of $90,000–$120,000.
