Description

  • Support assigned learners, particularly those identified as at risk, through customized NCLEX learning plans and consistent communication.
  • Monitor learner progress, grade assigned activities, and track attendance throughout the coaching process.
  • Develop and facilitate scheduled study sessions and one-on-one coaching appointments.
  • Complete initial and final evaluations for assigned learners and graduates and recommend transcript clearance.
  • Attend NCLEX faculty meetings, participate in committees, and contribute to faculty decision-making and activities.
  • Participate in functional projects as assigned.
  • Maintain certification records in accordance with accreditation, facility, and state board of nursing requirements.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Availability and commitment to serve across all three academic semesters each calendar year.
  • Doctorate preferred.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting students in a Practical Nursing program preferred.
  • Experience facilitating concept-based nursing education.
  • Proficiency with at least one learning management system; Canvas preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, and other online nursing education technologies.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen required.
  • Attendance at New Collaborator Orientation in Salt Lake City, Utah, required.
