Description

  • Maintain, monitor, and support a production infrastructure environment.
  • Support multiple systems and applications of medium to high complexity.
  • Monitor systems, follow defined procedures, and resolve incidents and issues.
  • Analyze and report operational metrics to track performance and drive process improvements.
  • Perform routine infrastructure maintenance, including backups, patching, and application version updates.
  • Manage DNS, FTP, IIS, and application environments.
  • Set up and maintain server system and file security.
  • Maintain documentation for servers and related infrastructure equipment.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Communicate events and status updates to stakeholders, teams, and leadership.
  • Work with cabling, racking, and other tasks in physical data centers, including some travel as needed.
  • Create user accounts and update production server resources and sizing.
  • Follow company Code of Ethics and CXone policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working in a large production infrastructure environment.
  • 5+ years in Windows Server administration in a production environment.
  • 5+ years configuring server hardware and operating systems.
  • Experience with Windows Server operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft OS patching and critical updates.
  • Intermediate-level system troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows domains, Active Directory, DNS, and mail.
  • Experience managing VMware environments.
  • Experience working with hardware replacements and vendor support.
  • Experience working in a PCI or Cyber Essentials compliant environment (preferred).
  • Experience working with SAN storage (preferred).
  • Experience working with Okta (preferred).
  • Experience with change management processes (preferred).
  • Experience managing HP-branded servers (preferred).
  • Experience managing Cisco UCS (preferred).
  • Linux administration experience (preferred).
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining AWS environments (preferred).
  • Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages (preferred).
