Description

  • Engage with clients to understand business goals, customer personas, and resolution paths.
  • Write, test, and refine AI prompts and system instructions to improve clarity, tone, and model performance across channels.
  • Define tone-of-voice guidelines that stay consistent with brand standards while adapting for each channel.
  • Design conversational experiences that handle multi-intent queries, context switching, and proactive interactions.
  • Partner with analytics teams to monitor live performance metrics such as containment, abandonment, and sentiment.
  • Use performance insights to continuously improve conversation flows and user experience.
  • Maintain libraries of reusable conversation patterns, error handling scripts, and test scorecards for internal consistency.
  • Collaborate across teams to translate technical requirements and design decisions into effective conversational solutions.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience designing AI agents across voice, chat, email, and messaging channels.
  • Understanding of large language models and how to optimize prompts with examples, context, and constraints.
  • Experience designing conversational experiences in regulated industries such as airlines, financial services, healthcare, or retail is preferred.
  • Proven ability to design reusable frameworks, templates, and scalable patterns for enterprise deployments.
  • Experience creating multiple demos or prototypes that showcase advanced agentic AI capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance user needs with technical requirements in conversational UX design.
