Description

  • Develop narrative and messaging strategy in collaboration with the project designer.
  • Present strategic content recommendations and initial copy concepts to clients.
  • Write polished, on-brand website copy for B2B and B2C client projects.
  • Create SEO/AEO-optimized copy from first draft through revision rounds.
  • Produce low-fidelity wireframes and content outlines for design handoff.
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure copy and design are aligned.
  • Contribute to one or both phases of a project depending on scope and fit.
  • Lead clients through messaging frameworks and content strategy workshops when applicable.

Requirements

  • Strong track record writing website copy across a range of industries and brands.
  • Experience writing for businesses with complex offerings.
  • Ability to shift voice and tone without losing clarity or sharpness.
  • Experience working in or alongside design teams.
  • Strong understanding of content-first design principles.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and how content performs in search, including AI-assisted search.
  • Comfort working in Figma, as content is produced and presented there.
  • Ability to provide an hourly rate for copywriting work, and a separate rate for narrative and messaging strategy work if applicable.
  • Must submit a portfolio or web copy examples with the application.
  • Experience running content strategy workshops or developing messaging frameworks is preferred.
