Description

  • Lead executive-level Microsoft Security discovery workshops focused on risk reduction, compliance alignment, and operational maturity.
  • Serve as the Microsoft Security solution strategist across opportunities and active client engagements.
  • Design and validate end-to-end Microsoft Security architectures across Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, Intune, Azure security controls, and Zero Trust patterns.
  • Develop multi-phase security roadmaps that connect assessment findings to prioritized initiatives and measurable business outcomes.
  • Build and review Statements of Work, proposals, service descriptions, and Bills of Materials.
  • Partner with Account Executives and practice leaders to qualify opportunities, refine positioning, articulate ROI, and shape deal strategy.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and drive recurring services such as managed services, retainers, and roadmap execution.
  • Drive cross-sell and up-sell of complementary partner technologies when they strengthen the overall architecture.
  • Act as an escalation point for high-risk or complex Microsoft Security designs.
  • Produce client-ready deliverables including executive summaries, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and runbooks.
  • Mentor CSAs and engineers in consultative discovery, Microsoft security architecture patterns, and executive communication.
  • Contribute to internal enablement assets such as reference architectures, templates, playbooks, and repeatable go-to-market offerings.
  • Identify and escalate security risks to executive leadership and support remediation efforts.
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Travel of 40% to 80% may be required.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in security architecture, consulting, or security engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise across the Microsoft Security stack, including Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, Intune, and Azure Security.
  • Proven experience writing and defending Statements of Work and proposals for security services.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience designing across multiple security domains, including identity, endpoint, cloud, data, email, network/perimeter, and monitoring/response.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify expansion opportunities and quantify value.
  • Executive presence and exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring technical professionals and elevating consultative selling practices.
  • Preferred Microsoft certifications include SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, and MS-500 or equivalent.
  • Preferred industry certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and GIAC certifications such as GCIA, GCED, and GCIH.
