Description

  • Lead M&A and corporate development workstreams, including target screening, valuation, deal modeling, due diligence, and external-advisor coordination.
  • Support post-acquisition integration through synergy tracking, reporting harmonization, and onboarding acquired businesses into planning and reporting cycles.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly investor reporting, Board packs, management presentations, and responses to shareholder and lender requests.
  • Own the annual budget, periodic forecasts, financial models, and scenario analysis for leadership.
  • Implement AI-assisted tools and automated workflows for FP&A, driver-based forecasting, predictive modeling, and executive reporting.
  • Define and monitor business KPIs, translating performance data into insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Lead accurate and timely internal financial and royalty reporting.
  • Oversee royalty reporting, accounting, and distribution, ensuring licensing-agreement and US licensing compliance.
  • Conduct strategic benchmarking, market, competitor, pricing, and profitability analyses.
  • Improve finance processes, systems, and tools; partner with Accounting on close activities, audits, and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in finance, economics, management engineering, accounting, or an equivalent field.
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, transaction services, private equity, or FP&A, ideally in technology, media, or financial services.
  • Hands-on M&A experience in valuation, deal modeling, financial due diligence, and integration.
  • Experience preparing investor or Board materials, ideally for a PE- or VC-backed company.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and strong knowledge of financial statements, US GAAP, and corporate financial reporting.
  • Experience using AI/LLM tools, BI platforms, SQL or relational databases, automated financial workflows, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior executives, Board members, and investors.
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
  • Fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States.
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, IFRS knowledge, additional languages, and royalty or music/entertainment finance experience are preferred.

  • Base salary of $145,000–$180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
