Description

  • Develop and implement a robust, organization-wide security strategy covering risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of security including physical security, information security, and cybersecurity.
  • Lead, mentor, and build the security team while fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and key advisor to senior management on security incidents, risks, and the status of security programs.
  • Integrate security measures with IT and operations teams to embed security into infrastructure and business processes.
  • Develop and manage security budgets and allocate resources to meet security objectives effectively.
  • Ensure security policies, standards, and procedures are communicated, enforced, and adhered to across all levels of the organization.
  • Monitor emerging threats, trends, and technologies and continuously enhance the organization’s security posture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in security management with proven leadership roles in a corporate environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
  • Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing security programs for both cybersecurity and physical security.
  • Strong understanding of risk management practices, incident response protocols, and security incident management.
  • Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data loss prevention tools.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCISO are highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS (preferred).
  • Experience in incident response planning and business continuity planning, plus proven ability to influence and drive change at all organizational levels (preferred).
