Description

  • Monitor captain outreach data in real time to flag anomalies, suspicious patterns, and potential reporting errors or misrepresentation.
  • Maintain and continuously refine QC flags and thresholds with the Program Manager and research team.
  • Conduct follow-up verification on 5-10% of reported voter contacts by phone, text, or email to confirm interactions and assess quality.
  • Design and execute natural-sounding follow-up scripts that surface discrepancies without feeling like audits.
  • Escalate serious integrity concerns promptly to the Program Manager and relevant Organizer.
  • Coordinate with the research team so QC follow-up protocols do not interfere with the randomized controlled trial.
  • Recruit, manage, and debrief a network of plants embedded in captain turfs to independently verify outreach activity and quality.
  • Translate QC findings into clear coaching and retraining feedback for Organizers and captains.
  • Differentiate between data entry issues, training gaps, and more serious misconduct requiring escalation.
  • Participate in program check-ins and share regional trends and systemic QC findings.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in data quality, compliance, research operations, or a similarly accuracy-focused field.
  • Comfort working with data platforms, technology, outreach tracking tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and underperformance in data reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for conducting warm, natural voter follow-up conversations.
  • Discretion and sound judgment when escalating concerns and distinguishing honest mistakes from bad actors.
  • Familiarity with community organizing, political campaigns, or relational outreach programs.
  • A systems-thinking mindset with strong pattern recognition.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building processes in real time as the program scales.
  • Ability to have difficult conversations with Organizers or captains without making it personal.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
  • Preferred: Experience in a fast-moving environment that requires adaptability and quick decision-making.

Benefits

  • Total compensation equivalent to $81,875-$91,875 annualized.
  • Base salary of $75,000-$85,000, depending on experience.
  • $5,000 end-of-cycle bonus.
