Description

  • Define and execute design strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery and research through wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments to validate and refine design solutions.
  • Partner closely with product managers and engineers to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
  • Design scalable UI components and contribute to the design system.
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles across products.
  • Create and refine micro-interactions and motion elements to improve engagement and usability.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve user experience and business impact.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers.
  • Stay current on fintech trends and best practices to support product innovation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a senior product design role with a strong focus on UX and leading impactful projects.
  • Mastery of visual design, typography, grids, layout, and colour theory.
  • Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and user flows.
  • Experience designing for both mobile and web platforms with responsive and adaptive experiences.
  • Strong understanding of behavioural psychology and its influence on user decision-making.
  • Extensive experience with usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
  • Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions.
  • Familiarity with UX analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar.
  • Proficiency in atomic design principles and building scalable UI frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of motion design tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or Principle.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior designers.
  • Ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders across teams.
  • Comfort working in agile, fast-paced product teams.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including auto layout, design tokens, component variants, interactive prototypes, and scalable design libraries.
  • Proven experience in fintech and/or SaaS environments.
  • Strong portfolio with fintech or SaaS-related projects showcasing process, research, impact, and leadership.
