Description

  • Manage ISA and LISA transfers end-to-end, including processing, verifying amounts and reference numbers, and finalising transfers.
  • Keep customers informed about transfer status and explain processes clearly and without jargon.
  • Chase and liaise with external providers to progress stalled transfers, including making professional and persistent calls and recording outcomes.
  • Identify and flag unusual or incomplete transfer requests (e.g., mismatched names, missing references) and escalate or remediate as required.
  • Handle customer queries and problem-solve time-sensitive cases (e.g., LISA withdrawals for home purchases), checking documentation and coordinating next steps.
  • Process transfer batches while maintaining high accuracy, including triple-checking reference and account numbers.
  • Maintain detailed notes and documentation so work is transparent and easily handed over to others.
  • Work independently under pressure with multiple tasks in flight, incorporate feedback, and add value quickly in a mid-season team intake.

Requirements

  • Available for a fixed-term contract from 9th March to 31st May (UK-based only).
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK; the role cannot offer visa sponsorship and overseas applications will not be considered.
  • Willingness to undergo criminal record and adverse credit history checks; adverse financial history (e.g., CCJs, IVAs, bankruptcy) may affect suitability and should be disclosed upfront.
  • Excellent written and spoken English for daily customer and provider communications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy in a regulated financial environment.
  • Ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using systems and technology; previous experience in operations, customer service, or financial services is helpful but not essential.
  • Confident and persistent in chasing third parties and able to explain processes to customers simply and patiently.
  • Able to work independently, accept and act on feedback, and integrate quickly into an existing team.
