Description

  • Own and evolve core platform components, including a TypeScript-based Pulumi codebase and Kubernetes runtime environments.
  • Design and build internal platforms, reusable abstractions, internal services, and developer tooling that reduce engineering complexity.
  • Enforce engineering standards by architecting scalable systems with strong reliability and security.
  • Improve developer productivity through self-service workflows and standardized golden paths.
  • Design and maintain the monitoring stack, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and operational dashboards.
  • Build reusable infrastructure primitives and platform systems instead of one-off scripts.
  • Participate in the operation of production systems, including on-call rotations and incident response tooling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant focus on infrastructure and cloud domains.
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript or another strictly typed language.
  • Deep understanding of AWS architecture.
  • Proven experience designing, operating, and scaling Kubernetes workloads.
  • Strong grasp of distributed systems fundamentals, including availability, consistency, and fault tolerance.
  • Familiarity with GitOps patterns, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) systems.
  • Ability to work in short feedback loops and build foundational infrastructure for digital finance.
  • Ability to maintain significant overlap with Eastern Time business hours.
  • Preference for candidates based in New York or able to work in ET+2 / -3 time zones.
