Description

  • Edit long-form documentary episodes for an ongoing YouTube series.
  • Shape narrative structure and pacing from raw observational footage.
  • Create documentary storytelling around construction and architectural projects.
  • Edit behind-the-scenes observational content and lifestyle/business narratives.
  • Work with interviews, documentary scenes, and voice-over to build cohesive episodes.
  • Collaborate remotely on long-form episodic workflows and proxy-based projects.
  • Manage long-form 4K exports and renders efficiently.
  • Coordinate with directors and story producers on story development and episode construction.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in DaVinci Resolve.
  • Understanding of documentary storytelling and three-act structure.
  • Ability to build narrative from raw observational footage.
  • Experience working with interviews, documentary scenes, and voice-over.
  • Understanding of pacing, emotional rhythm, and scene construction.
  • Experience with proxy workflows and remote collaboration.
  • Fluency in Russian, spoken and understood fluently, is essential.
  • English is mandatory, as many interviews, meetings, and storylines are in English.
  • Ability to work under deadlines in long-form episodic workflows.
  • Must have a powerful editing workstation capable of handling large-scale documentary projects.
  • Preferred setup includes an RTX 3060, 3070, or 4070-level GPU or equivalent.
  • Stable high-speed internet connection is required.
  • Personal NAS or server with a minimum of 8TB free space is required for proxy workflow.
  • Ability to render and export long-form 4K projects efficiently.
  • Experience in cinematic documentary editing is a plus.
  • Experience with multicam and large project organization is a plus.
  • Experience with sound design and music-driven editing is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with directors and story producers is a plus.
