Description

  • Set up and run fluid simulations using CAD geometry.
  • Create verified reference solutions for AI-agent evaluation tasks.
  • Write Python-based checks to validate agent simulation results.
  • Perform mesh-independence studies and validate simulations against experiments or benchmarks.
  • Contribute high-quality CFD solutions for real-world technology projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related energy or oil & gas field.
  • Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD experience.
  • Experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
  • Knowledge of verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies and benchmark or experimental validation.
  • Comfort with Python and GitHub.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • A PhD is preferred but not required.
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery is preferred.
  • Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows is preferred.
  • Availability for an estimated 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.
