Description

  • Set up and run fluid simulations using CAD geometry.
  • Build verified reference solutions for AI agent evaluation.
  • Write Python checks to assess agent-generated results.
  • Perform mesh-independence studies and validate simulations against experiments or benchmarks.
  • Contribute high-quality simulation solutions for technology projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related energy or oil and gas field.
  • Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD experience.
  • Experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
  • Knowledge of verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies and benchmark or experimental validation.
  • Proficiency with Python and GitHub.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • PhD in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery (preferred).
  • Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows (preferred).
