Description

  • Partner with marketing and product teams to diagnose business challenges and define relevant data metrics, analyses, and interpretations.
  • Lead the creation, monitoring, and iterative improvement of statistical models for marketing spend optimization and product growth.
  • Design clear narratives and data visualizations that communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Independently prototype and validate new insights from hypothesis through rigorous testing.
  • Evaluate different modeling approaches and select the best fit for specific marketing contexts.
  • Work closely with leadership and clients to communicate results and influence strategy.
  • Contribute as a senior individual contributor on complex data science initiatives with significant independence.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience working independently as a high-impact individual contributor on complex data science initiatives.
  • Expert proficiency in Python or R for multi-dimensional data sets.
  • Experience with statistical modeling libraries such as CausalImpact and RStan.
  • Advanced SQL skills for manipulating and structuring data.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work across all levels of the organization to influence product and marketing strategy with data-backed evidence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build compelling narratives from raw data.
  • Availability for occasional travel, estimated at 0%–15% depending on project and organizational needs.
