Description

  • Design graphics for email, social media, and digital ads.
  • Apply brand guidelines to new and existing creative assets.
  • Build simple animations such as GIFs and video loops and edit video clips.
  • Assist with print materials including flyers, proposals, and direct mail.
  • Support larger design projects, including identity design and web graphics.
  • Receive and implement feedback from designers, strategists, and clients.
  • Collaborate with strategists, developers, and other creatives to deliver cross-platform assets.
  • Contribute creative ideas while working in a fast-paced political design environment.

Requirements

  • You are a senior, in your last year of an undergraduate program, or a recent graduate.
  • You are comfortable using Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
  • You are detail-oriented, take feedback well, and are eager to learn.
  • You are committed to working for progressive political candidates and causes.
  • You are a team player.
  • You follow the news of the day and understand the U.S. political system and key progressive issues.
  • You can commit to full-time (40-hour week) or near full-time availability with consistent hours each week.
  • You are based in the United States.
  • Experience working on design for advocacy, nonprofit, or political projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or other motion design tools is preferred.
  • Experience editing short videos using After Effects or Premiere Pro is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility in design is preferred.
  • Interest in UX/UI or web design is preferred.
