Description

  • Develop account strategies, territory plans, and quarterly business plans to support customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Prospect for new accounts and business development opportunities across assigned accounts and territories.
  • Secure new customers by managing field activity, daily and weekly schedules, and repeat order opportunities.
  • Own customer relationships before, during, and after the sale to support retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Learning Experience Coordinators, Interior Designers, and project support teams throughout the sales and fulfillment process.
  • Engage school, district, architectural, and community stakeholders to build consensus and support change.
  • Manage existing client renewals and ongoing customer relationships.
  • Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and sales reporting as needed.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and trade organizations for networking and professional development.
  • Develop expertise in products and learning experiences to effectively position offerings to customers.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of field sales experience with demonstrable results; K-12 education market experience is a plus.
  • Experience identifying, qualifying, and closing B2B deals ranging from $5,000 to over $50,000.
  • Consultative selling style with persistent qualification of budget, authority, need, and timing.
  • Ability to prospect for new business and manage a large pipeline of accounts efficiently.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, territory management, time management, presentation, negotiation, closing, problem solving, and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and operate autonomously.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screening.
  • Strong proficiency with business applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and web searching.
  • Prepared to travel 3+ days per week.
  • Must attend an in-person cultural orientation in Gainesville, FL 3 to 6 weeks after start date.
