Description

  • Drive technical execution of the roadmap to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high quality standard.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to balance feature development, technical debt, and operational stability.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client and internal stakeholders, communicating progress and managing expectations.
  • Mitigate technical risks and help ensure project success.
  • Own the quality of the team’s deliverables and help define engineering quality standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and architectural context to unblock the team and support scalable solutions.
  • Attract, coach, nurture, and retain engineering talent.
  • Develop career progression plans and provide regular, real-time feedback.
  • Support continuous learning and development through training opportunities.
  • Help shape and execute the engineering organization’s vision.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Experience with web and native iOS applications.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with experience managing client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of design and architectural patterns and development best practices.
  • Proven success driving complex, cross-functional engineering projects from concept to production.
  • Strong technical judgment and ability to challenge, guide, and mentor engineers on design and implementation.
  • Experience collaborating on highly distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $113,416.73 to $139,843.64 CAD.
