Description

  • Provide remote telephone and email-based help desk and service desk support.
  • Own, track, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
  • Fulfill daily requests and resolve incidents within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage incidents, problems, and requests through to resolution or escalation.
  • Communicate status updates to technology customers throughout the support process.
  • Proactively escalate issues that cannot be resolved within required timeframes.
  • Support enterprise operations by delivering reliable IT operational support services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT service desk or help desk support environment.
  • Experience supporting Office 365 tools such as Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • CompTIA A+ certification required within 90 business days of hire.
  • Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance: U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident for 3 years and federal tax compliant.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Active listening and effective communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise ticketing/ITSM tools, preferably BMC Remedy Service Management.
  • Experience with Active Directory, VPN support, Bomgar remote support, mobile devices, software installation, browsers, printer support, network drives, and Windows 11 preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Office Specialist and one of the following: ITIL v3 Foundations, Help Desk Institute HDA, CSR, or another IT industry certification.
