Description

  • Design, build, and manage security solutions across IAM, endpoint security, firewalls, email security, application security, and security awareness.
  • Design secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Implement, configure, test, troubleshoot, and document security solutions.
  • Serve as the escalation point for security-related incidents.
  • Proactively identify threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses and recommend countermeasures.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability-related analysis.
  • Develop security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide security guidance, expertise, and recommendations on IT projects throughout the technology/project life cycle.
  • Work with the MSSP and internal IT teams to review alerts and investigate security incidents.
  • Conduct security awareness training and ensure deployed security tools are properly tuned and effective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of total experience with 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise information technology security solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint security, network firewalls, email security gateways, content filtering, IAM, Single Sign On (SSO), Windows servers, and virtualization technology.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud products, including Office 365, Intune, Azure, Azure VM, NSGs, Azure Sentinel, ATP, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Preferred experience with Azure, SSO, Cisco Firewalls, Defender Security, VMware, EDR, XDR, Cisco Umbrella DNS Security, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Relevant current certifications preferred, such as CompTIA Security+, PenTest+, OSCP, CEH, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or CISA.
  • Ability to work in the continental U.S.; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote environment, with some travel required and availability outside normal Monday–Friday business hours.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, organizational, multitasking, project management, research, and data analysis skills.
